Aviation - Audit

An audit provides evidence that a quality system is effective and being performed as defined by the documentation and specified requirements.

The data gathered in an audit is used to:

  • Ensure compliance with Regulations
  • Ensure activities conform to the documented system
  • Determine the effectiveness of the Quality Management System
  • Provide a basis for improvement
  • Ensure all contractual requirements are adhered to and complied with by external or internal providers

IAAS accredited auditors conduct system and compliance audits, including system, product and process reviews of:

Airworthiness Standards

  • Facilities (engine/component overhaul, maintenance and repair organisations)
  • Supplier assessment
  • Resource Assessment
  • Maintenance control
  • Airworthiness management
  • Technical data and Records control

Quality Management Systems

  • Quality Manuals
  • Operational Policies and Procedures
  • Process control

Audits are conducted to ensure that documented procedures comply with operator quality manuals. Audits will be performed as either:

1. Systems Audit (Examination of Quality System)
2. Compliance Audit (Examination of procedures and work instructions)

Audit planning and implementation complies with ISO documented procedures, regulatory standards and customer requirements.

IAAS Australia provides customers with an independent evaluation of the efficiency, effectiveness and application of all operational processes.

We ensure compliance with relevant regulations, baseline data and established policies and procedures.
